Practical education.
Compassionate care.

Build knowledge and practical strategies for supporting people living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Topics include dementia care foundations, person-centered communication, behavioral expressions, daily care, meaningful engagement, caregiver stress, and supportive environments.

Participants will receive instructions and their required official electronic student notebook prior to the seminar.

Participants who complete the seminar receive a Certificate of Attendance.

    Complete the seminar form

    Provide your contact information and select the available seminar date in our secure Jotform.

  2. 02

    Submit seminar payment

    Continue to the secure Square payment page. Seminar and NCCDP application fees are separate.

  3. 03

    Prepare for class

    Before class, you will receive Zoom information, the seminar schedule, instructions, your official electronic student notebook, and other class details by email.

03 What happens after you register?

From registration
to seminar day.

Here is what to expect after you begin your ADDC Seminar registration.

    Complete your online registration.

  2. 02

    Submit your seminar payment.

  3. 03

    Watch for a confirmation email.

  4. 04

    Receive your electronic student notebook and seminar instructions before class.

  5. 05

    Join the live ADDC Seminar on your scheduled date.

  6. 06

    Receive your Certificate of Attendance after successfully completing the seminar.

04 Important certification information

The seminar and
certification are separate.

Anyone may attend the ADDC Seminar. Completion of the seminar is a required step for eligible professionals pursuing the Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credential.

CDP eligibility, application, approval, and certification fees are handled separately by NCCDP. Seminar attendance does not by itself guarantee certification.
